Liverpool Remembers

watercolour with brusho, A4 size.

Following a day round Liverpool taking photos in the city and Anglican Cathedral, we were invited to produce an art work of something that left an impression. ( this for a Lytham Art Society competition)

I chose this tiled section of the remembrance path at the Cathedral “Justice for the 96 – Never Forgotten” and 2 Memorials from St Georges’ Gardens, “Families fighting for justice” and the victims of the 1994 Rwanda Genocide. These were surrounded by spring flowers and tributes.

Liverpool is full of reminders from the past – i could have chosen other sites. I also took some other photos that may appear later!
