Grandson’s Holiday

Gosh, it has been a busy few days. Nana and Grandad got back from their holidays to find that their taxi home from Manchester had broken down. Nana said Grandad used some very bad words, but they got home eventually.

Nana said her flat felt like a laundry on Wednesday and Thursday, but luckily I arrived to cheer her up on Thursday afternoon. This was because my Mummy and Daddy were going off on holiday without me!!! They were back on Sunday, but all we saw of their holiday were some little glasses of brown stuff. No sandcastles again!!

Anyway, on Friday morning, Auntie Sarah arrived to take me up to see Molly, Milo and Uncle David for the weekend. Nana and Grandad say they are getting too old to cope with me for a whole weekend. We had a great time at Auntie Sarah’s. I went to Grandad’s local ( not sure what that is) for tea on Friday. We went to a climbing wall, which was cool. We had pancakes for breakfast. We played Lego (Uncle David is quite good at Lego, but not as good as my Daddy) and FIFA (Uncle David let me be Liverpool). I met a load of new friends at the playground near Auntie Sarah’s. I held Molly’s lead when we went for a walk. Uncle David says next time I visit I have to take my boots and waterproofs and we’ll climb a mountain.

Then on Sunday Nana and Grandad came to pick me up and had roast dinner with us. Auntie Sarah, Uncle David and I had a super time and they can’t wait for me to go again. Molly and Milo are still my 2 most favourite dogs in the whole world!

By the way, Grandad let me do a blog post all on my own the other day. It’s HERE

I’ve just received a rather dinky folding bluetooth keyboard from those tax avoiders at Amazon. I thought that if I was going to blog while we were walking the Camino, I really needed a keyboard and at 25 squid, this looks ideal. Problem No. 1 is I can’t find the pound sign, but the keyboard…

🎉  Splendid party with old friends yesterday. We compared medications, illnesses, discussed the medications and illnesses of people who weren’t there. We solved some of the world’s problems, but not many. I managed to avoid any political discussions at all (as far as I can remember anyway) probably due to the fact I was driving…
