Lytham Hall

Autumn 3 or Winter 1?

All the leaves have gone from the horse chestnut tree at Lytham Hall. It will be interesting to see what happens next year. Was it the weather or some disease which caused the leaves to fall of in clumps?

Cold today, but Lytham Hall still looks lovely, although I wouldn’t like to pay for the heating.

It’s strange but it seems to me that when you walk along the promenade virtually nobody speaks unless you actually know them, while, in Lytham Hall grounds, practically everyone greets you, whether they know you or not. Interesting phenomenon …………….. discuss.

All this…

The UK’s drift to the outer limits of right wing politics continues with the installation of Elizabeth Orban Bolsonaro Truss as our new overlord Prime Minister. Apparently 80,000 white male old people selected this person to be leader of the Conservative party and, hence, the supreme leader. With luminaries like Suella Braverman (somewhat to the…
