Bonsoir, ma famille et mes amis. Notre cuisine a été remplie de délicieuses odeurs aujourd’hui. Heather a préparé des gâteaux de Noël, comme elle le fait chaque année. Elle en fait un pour chaque foyer de la famille. Ils recevront régulièrement des doses de cognac d’ici Noël. Une semaine ou deux avant Noël, ils seront remis aux trois foyers qui composent notre famille. Heather et moi, évidemment, garderons le quatrième.

Il y a quelques semaines, j’avais promis de ne plus publier de messages politiques avant 2026. Ces deux dernières semaines ont cependant été difficiles.

Aucun parti politique britannique n’inspire la moindre confiance, tous semblent virer de plus en plus à droite.

Le Parti Labour m’a particulièrement déçu, car il semble être devenu l’équivalent des Conservatives d’il y a 20 ans. Les dirigeants et une partie des membres du Parti Reform seraient tout à fait à l’aise dans les chemises brunes d’Hitler. Et maintenant, le président des États-Unis est en visite. J’aurai 74 ans en novembre et je peux honnêtement dire que je n’ai jamais vu un gouvernement britannique se livrer à autant de lèche-culs. Si vous souhaitez lire ceci, utilisez Google Traduction.

En attendant, je vais renifler mon gâteau de Noël !
