Summer Highlights & A Return To Blogging

Apart from the June announcement of my leaving Facebook, this is my first ‘proper’ post since March. I thought I might give you an overview of my summer highlights.

April

A few nice walks but this one took first place. Arnside is a lovely spot and this was a lovely day to go with it.

May

The undoubted high spot of the summer……. 2 weeks in Crete. A super holiday. Fingers crossed, we can repeat it next year.

June

2 nights at The Imperial in Llandudno and 2 half days in Bodnant Gardens, one of our fave places in the known universe!

July

We now have a 2 Together Railcard, so we went to Ulverston for our first trip. The trains were all over the place but we got there eventually and everything was late coming back so we didn’t miss any connections!

August

Art month! Heather and I did the Art Society show in Memorial Gardens, Lytham. Two smashing days which we really enjoyed. Sold a fair amount of stuff too.

Following on from this, I’m teaching Heather WordPress and she now has a website at heatherdraperart.co.uk.

So what happens next? I think I will continue with the blog again and see how long it takes for me to get fed up. I will post in various Whatsapp groups that I’m part of and also on Facebook which I’ve rejoined using a different email address and we will see how it goes. It would be lovely to get some views and comments, but I’m not holding my breath!
